Founding Product Designer (AI)

Location: Fully remote; candidates based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland are preferred.

What you will do

• Define and evolve the product's visual and interaction language across key surfaces.
• Establish the design system, design standards, and documentation for product and engineering.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Make product strategy and design decisions based on user feedback in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and qualitative feedback sessions.
• Collaborate with engineering on implementation, technical constraints, and design-to-code handoff.

Requirements

• 3+ years of product design experience shipping consumer or B2B products end-to-end.
• Experience establishing design systems, standards, and documentation for cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for prototyping and high-fidelity design.
• A portfolio demonstrating shipped products and clear problem-solving or before-and-after narratives.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and frontend implementation concepts.

• Experience working at early-stage startups.
