Senior Python Developer (Medicaid Portal)

Location: Ukraine; fully remote

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise server-side Python code.
• Build a portal that simplifies Medicaid applications for individuals and organizations applying on behalf of others.
• Collaborate with the team lead and other developers while independently managing tasks and projects.
• Estimate work, communicate progress, and proactively clarify requirements.
• Test code thoroughly and ensure updates and fixes are successfully deployed to production.
• Take ownership of the quality and functionality of delivered work.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Python.
• Strong knowledge of Python and data-related libraries such as Pandas and FastAPI.
• Knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Selenium, Git, Bash scripting, pytest, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, disciplined testing, and code quality practices.
• Familiarity with AWS Cognito and agile coding methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS services, and Terraform.
