Junior Automation Engineer (RPA): Developing and supporting automated underwriting solutions for Life and Health insurance with an accent on automation logic, RPA technologies, and comprehensive testing. Focus on designing automated test frameworks, validating business requirements, resolving defects, and improving product reliability across global stakeholder teams.
Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid working model combining office collaboration in Mexico with flexible remote working.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deliver automation solutions aligned with product strategy and client requirements.
- Develop and maintain underwriting rules, automation logic, and supporting components for Magnum.
- Apply automation and RPA technologies to streamline business processes.
- Design and maintain test plans, regression test packs, automated testing frameworks, and test suites.
- Validate releases and development outcomes through UAT and release validation activities.
- Identify, track, and resolve defects while collaborating with global stakeholders across time zones.
Requirements
- 2–3+ years of experience in software development, automation engineering, or quality engineering.
- Experience in Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services IT environments.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Programming experience in Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.
- Experience with test design, execution, defect management, web technologies, API testing, and SQL databases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a global multicultural environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation and RPA tools, preferably UiPath.
- Hands-on experience with BDD, Selenium, Postman, Visual Studio, or similar test automation tools.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership beyond defined role boundaries.
