Manufacturing Operator (Contract)

Location: Onsite in Penang, Malaysia; readiness to work in shifts is required.

What you will do

• Perform product manufacturing and assembly tasks according to industry standards and customer specifications.
• Set up and operate production equipment following standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.
• Support the development, building, and testing of new products, prototypes, and manufacturing processes.
• Collect and evaluate operating data, adjust equipment, and improve production efficiency and utilization.
• Support equipment installation, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and production equipment training.
• Maintain raw material availability, conduct quality checks, document production activity, and escalate issues when needed.

Requirements

• SPM, STPM, a non-technical diploma, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least one year of relevant technical experience is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electronic, or mechatronic systems.
• Strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work precisely with instruments and equipment and follow technical documentation and procedures.
• Willingness to work onsite in shifts and collaborate effectively with the production team.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with technical documentation and operating procedures.
