Location: Onsite in Raritan, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $96,267–$126,351 USD annually, plus potential performance-based bonus and/or equity.

What you will do

  • Lead and supervise multiple CAR-T process operations, including component preparation, manufacturing support, mock cell, and CAR-T processing.
  • Run shift-start and production wrap-up meetings, assign daily tasks, and ensure successful completion of production activities.
  • Provide guidance on the production floor and participate in manufacturing operations when required.
  • Support investigations, revise operational procedures and batch records, and manage change controls.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Operations leadership to resolve production issues and develop personnel.
  • Support process development, department projects, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least six years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech or biopharmaceutical environment, with prior manufacturing, quality, or engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of cGMP regulations, FDA guidance for cell-based products, and cleanroom practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Availability for day shifts, including evenings, weekends, and unplanned overtime when required; ability to work onsite with biological materials and hazardous chemicals.

  • Experience with operational excellence and/or lean manufacturing.
