What you will do

  • Provide on-site technical leadership and support for Panasonic IFE/GCS installation, maintenance, and system performance.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft systems, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate complex issues with customer support and technical engineering teams.
  • Guide customer and MRO maintenance personnel on operating, repairing, and maintaining IFE/GCS equipment.
  • Support new system introductions, customer entry-into-service activities, preventive maintenance programs, and service bulletin upgrades.
  • Track ticketing tasks, spare parts, repairs, testing, documentation, and system performance metrics.
  • Represent Panasonic in customer communications and support air-safety, quality, and maintenance processes.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of related industry experience in commercial aviation, military technical work, or technical school-based electronics and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with aircraft avionics; satellite communications and satellite network troubleshooting are relevant.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, including software-focused work with Linux; knowledge of UNIX, PC networks, computer hardware, and multiplexed or software-controlled systems.
  • Knowledge of global civil aviation regulations and EASA/FAA requirements; A&P, FCC Class 1, EASA B1, or B2 credentials with relevant type ratings are highly preferred.
  • Legal right to work in Canada and ability to pass extensive security and airside-access background checks.
  • Fluent English or the appropriate location-specific language is required for spoken and written technical communication.
