Facilities Electrical Engineer

What you will do

• Analyze, audit, and evaluate electrical systems, infrastructure performance, reliability, and equipment health.
• Develop electrical specifications, standards, maintenance procedures, and preventive, predictive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Lead complex electrical engineering projects, infrastructure modernization, capital planning, and asset lifecycle initiatives.
• Coordinate with design, construction, field operations, vendors, utility providers, and research and development teams.
• Maintain power distribution models and documentation, troubleshoot system issues, and manage configuration changes.
• Monitor electrical loads, capacity, reliability trends, and future demand while supporting corrective actions and operational continuity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related specialized field.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, system analysis, or facilities management.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment management, facility operations, preventive maintenance, problem-solving, and sustaining operations.
• Experience with breaker coordination, arc flash studies, power distribution modeling, switching procedures, and medium-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of compliance standards, quality assurance practices, and system capacity management.
