Cloud Architect (Azure)

Location: Lansing, Michigan; must be local for on-site interviews and work. Four days onsite required with no remote option.

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Lead cloud adoption planning, application design, migration of complex multi-tier applications, and cloud management.
• Select appropriate cloud services and integrate Azure services with on-premises networks.
• Analyze system performance, capacity, architecture, and cloud costs while identifying cost-control mechanisms.
• Design and implement disaster recovery, business continuity, security, and compliance strategies.
• Provide architectural guidance to software developers, systems engineers, and other IT personnel.

Requirements

• Local to Lansing, Michigan and available for onsite work four days per week.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role, including enterprise-scale Azure solution design and deployment.
• Experience with Azure and other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of network operations, software development, information security, APIs, and cloud frameworks.
• Experience with Python, Java, or .NET.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code and configuration tools for automation.
