What you will do

• Assist members with mortgage and home equity loan products while providing professional, personalized service.
• Counsel and pre-qualify members, assess income, assets, investments, debts, credit profiles, borrowing capacity, and repayment ability.
• Submit loan applications and manage mortgage and home equity pipelines, purchase pre-approvals, follow-ups, and member communications.
• Recommend loan products and explain pricing, rate and point scenarios, rate-lock policies, disclosures, timelines, and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with loan processors and underwriters to collect supporting documents and complete compliant loan packages.
• Support management, the call center, and new branch loan consultants while meeting production targets and department goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry as a mortgage loan originator under the SAFE Act.
• Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC loan origination guidelines.
• Strong listening, clarification, documentation, data entry, communication, and member-service skills.
• English proficiency is required; Spanish language skills are preferred.
