Senior Frontend Engineer (Video Streaming)

What you will do

• Develop core frontend features for the dashboard, video playback, and device management experiences.
• Build and improve the web frontend streaming experience for live and recorded video across hirify.global cameras.
• Partner with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive, polished user experiences.
• Drive technical decisions involving architecture, frameworks, performance, and frontend best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Improve UI performance, accessibility, maintainability, and streaming reliability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM APIs, browser performance, and accessibility.
• Experience designing scalable and maintainable frontend architectures.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is available for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience with video streaming, H.264 or other codecs, real-time data, or playback technologies such as WebCodecs.
