iOS Senior Associate (Swift)

Location: On-site in New York or Dallas; five days per week in the WTC area in NYC

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and deliver native iOS applications using Swift.
• Lead the technical direction and delivery of client engagements.
• Build and modernize consumer banking experiences covering onboarding, account management, and money movement.
• Develop greenfield mobile capabilities for new markets and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Guide architecture, development practices, technology adoption, and delivery quality.
• Collaborate with clients, designers, product owners, users, technologists, and Lab49 leadership.

Requirements

• 9–10+ years of experience designing and building complex commercial software systems.
• 4+ years leading Agile teams.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS development with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience in consumer banking, including account management and onboarding.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, mobile CI/CD pipelines, mobile UI/UX principles, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with fraud management, KYC, AML, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with on-device biometrics, AppConfig standards, enterprise app distribution, or released App Store applications.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Copilot.
