Staff Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; onsite at the Crossman Excellence Building home office

Salary: $143,000–$286,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Deliver platform capabilities covering infrastructure, developer tooling, and ML frameworks.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Design scalable, resilient systems using cloud-native architecture principles.
• Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components for automation and multi-step reasoning.
• Conduct system design reviews and collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering teams.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and improve developer productivity through documentation and data-driven practices.

Requirements

• 4 years of software engineering experience with a relevant bachelor's degree, or 6 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience developing reusable iOS frameworks and SDKs for high-traffic consumer applications.
• Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit interoperability, and modern iOS development practices.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, analytics, measurement, and performance instrumentation.
• Experience in AdTech, retail media, search, video, or consumer monetization platforms.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
