MRI Technologist

Location: Multiple clinic locations; future opportunities are on-site and permanent, and candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance of the clinic.

What you will do

• Operate MRI scanners and perform high-quality whole-body scans while following patient-safety requirements and clinic protocols.
• Prepare scan rooms, clean equipment, and order supplies.
• Use PACS and other software systems, complete image post-processing, and transfer images accurately.
• Identify and report equipment issues to the appropriate department.
• Support the training and development of new technologists in safety, communication, image acquisition, time management, and post-processing.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of clinical work experience and completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technology program.
• License through ARMRIT, ARRT (MR), or an equivalent board depending on location.
• BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI imaging, patient safety, advanced MR studies, and image-quality assessment.
• Ability to independently perform accurate MRI examinations and work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong patient-care, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with willingness to learn new protocols and technologies.
