Supervisor MRI Imaging Operations $20K Sign-On Incentive (MRI)

Location: Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts; fully on-site, with travel to other imaging locations including Longwood. Typical schedule is a day shift, 4–5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional off-hour work.

Salary: $127,200–$140,400 per year. External hires may be eligible for a $20,000 sign-on incentive.

What you will do

• Oversee MRI technical procedures, patient scheduling, workflow, staffing assignments, and daily operational activities.
• Supervise imaging technologists and other staff, including performance appraisals, competency assessments, training, and staff development.
• Implement clinical trial imaging procedures and protocols while coordinating related training and compliance activities.
• Ensure MRI services, equipment, information systems, and interfaces meet operational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
• Lead quality assurance and quality improvement activities, investigate patient feedback and incidents, and implement corrective action plans.
• Manage operational and capital expenses, support volume and revenue targets, and provide clinical coverage during staffing shortages.

Requirements

• Graduate of a hospital-based or accredited imaging technology program, with an associate degree in science or a closely related field.
• Current certification or registration in the applicable imaging discipline, such as ARRT, NMTCB, or ARDMS.
• 3–5 years of hospital-based experience in an imaging discipline.
• Current BLS certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work fully on-site in the Chestnut Hill/Boston area and travel to other imaging locations as needed.
• Advanced knowledge of medical imaging, regulatory compliance, accreditation requirements, communication, analysis, and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• At least two years of supervisory, management, or leadership experience.
• Current Massachusetts radiologic technologist license where applicable; this is not required for MRI and ultrasound supervisors.
