Networks Risk and Controls Manager

What you will do

• Manage implementation and oversight of the Key Control Framework across the Networks unit.
• Coordinate with control owners on control design, implementation, changes and continuous improvement.
• Support bi-annual self-assessments and manage operational, emerging and dynamic risks.
• Coordinate assurance activity and act as the liaison between Networks teams and Group assurance providers.
• Prepare management reporting for Networks leadership on risks, controls and assurance.
• Represent the risk and controls function, share best practices and mentor other professionals.

Requirements

• Experience in risk and controls within a large corporate environment.
• Practical experience implementing, operating, assessing or assuring internal controls and control frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to produce clear reporting and insights for senior leaders.
• Experience building relationships and explaining risk, controls and assurance concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in telecommunications or another regulated industry.
• Exposure to operational risk, emerging risks, assurance activity and remediation of control findings.
• Experience analysing data and producing management information.
• Interest in improving processes, controls and governance frameworks.
