Senior IP Trademark Paralegal

Location: Hybrid in-office/remote position based in Washington, D.C., Boston, New York, Houston, Philadelphia, Orange County, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Seattle, or Chicago.

Salary: $84,200–$134,600 for Boston and Chicago; $87,800–$140,450 for Seattle and Washington, D.C.; $91,500–$146,325 for New York and Orange County; $95,160–$152,198 for Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Annual discretionary bonus may also apply.

What you will do

• Prepare trademark and service mark registration applications, prosecution filings, and maintenance filings.
• Prepare Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filings and trademark record title updates.
• Support trademark and copyright due diligence and copyright registration applications.
• Conduct preliminary online trademark clearance searches and prepare search guides.
• Draft correspondence for clients and local counsel regarding trademark prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
• Track deadlines, coordinate with attorneys, and keep clients informed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least six years of trademark prosecution and maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Advanced legal research and investigation skills.
• Ability to follow established procedures, prioritize competing workloads, adapt to change, and support client needs in a fast-paced environment.
