iOS Team Lead (Fintech)

Location: On-site in New York or Dallas, with five days per week required in the office; the role description specifically references the World Trade Center area in New York.

What you will do

• Lead the technical direction and delivery of client-facing iOS projects.
• Design, implement, test, and deliver native Swift applications for consumer banking.
• Build and modernize mobile capabilities for customer onboarding, account management, and money movement.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, designers, product owners, users, and technical leadership.
• Break down complex business and technical problems into scalable solutions.
• Improve software architecture, engineering practices, and adoption of new technologies.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of experience designing and building complex commercial-grade software systems, including 4+ years leading Agile teams.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS development with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Experience in consumer banking, including account management and onboarding.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with fraud management, KYC, AML, regulatory reporting, or on-device biometric authentication.
• A strong portfolio of released App Store applications.
• Experience with AppConfig community standards and enterprise app distribution.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Copilot.
