IP Trademark Paralegal

Location: Hybrid in-office/remote work from Washington, D.C., Boston, New York, Houston, Philadelphia, Orange County, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Seattle, or Chicago.

Salary: $72,200–$115,550 for Boston and Chicago; $75,400–$120,550 for Seattle and Washington, D.C.; $78,500–$125,600 for New York and Orange County; $81,640–$130,585 for Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Annual discretionary bonus may also apply.

What you will do

• Prepare trademark and service mark registration applications, prosecution filings, maintenance filings, and title updates.
• Prepare Trademark Trial and Appeal Board filings and copyright registration applications.
• Support trademark and copyright due diligence, including online preliminary clearance searches and search guides.
• Draft correspondence for clients and local counsel regarding trademark prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement.
• Track deadlines, coordinate with attorneys, and keep clients informed of upcoming actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–3 years of trademark prosecution and maintenance experience in a law firm.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and ability to follow established procedures.
• Advanced legal research and investigation skills.
• Ability to adapt to change, balance competing demands, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Flexibility with overtime is required.

Nice to have

• Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
