Legal Support Specialist (IP)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year, with the final offer depending on location, skillset, and experience.

What you will do

• Assist attorneys with global trademark and copyright portfolio management.
• Prepare and manage U.S. and foreign trademark prosecution filings.
• Support trademark oppositions, cancellations, and other disputes by managing deadlines, evidence, and client communications.
• Maintain complex domestic and international trademark, domain name, and U.S. copyright dockets, including oversight of the docketing database.
• Maintain client-facing extranets and prepare trademark, copyright, and domain name status reports.
• Correspond daily with clients, the USPTO, and foreign counsel regarding statuses, deadlines, and outstanding issues.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• Excellent organization, precise attention to detail, and demonstrated multitasking ability.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently and efficiently across multiple tasks of varying complexity.
• Strong follow-through, interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
