Senior Software Engineer (Technical Lead) BSI (Claude, GitHub, Python, .NET/C#, Angular, AWS)

Location: CT - Hartford, United States

Annual base salary: $139,400–$230,000, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Embed GenAI technologies and responsible AI practices into the engineering ecosystem.
• Perform complex analysis, advanced design, configuration, and development for high-visibility initiatives.
• Lead the implementation of solutions for moderately complex and loosely scoped problems.
• Investigate and resolve critical defects, incidents, and other high-impact technical problems.
• Promote modular, API-driven, decoupled solutions and modern software delivery, automation, and resiliency practices.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership while influencing engineering and product strategy.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including 1 year shipping production systems built on LLMs or AI agents.
• At least 6 additional years of software engineering experience are required, along with a bachelor's degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience with GitHub, Python, .NET/C#, Angular, AWS, OCF, Mongo, DocumentDB, and SQL Server.
• Experience with modern agent frameworks such as Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, AgentCore, or similar, and with LLM APIs including Anthropic and OpenAI.
• Proficiency in tool use, retrieval, multi-step workflows, evaluation, observability, distributed systems, API design, testing, and CI/CD.
• Advanced leadership and communication skills, including technical direction, decision-making, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
