Software Test Engineer (Top Secret) Senior

What you will do

• Develop test plans, reports, customer communications, test cases, and technical documentation.
• Perform functional testing at system, interoperability, and integration levels across systems and networks.
• Participate in requirements development, risk assessments, evaluation-criteria refinement, and software and hardware development activities.
• Coordinate with customers, test engineers, and range engineers to align test infrastructure with objectives and data-collection requirements.
• Compile and analyze test results to assess conformity with requirements and document deficiencies or change requests.
• Conduct security analysis, including compliance testing and penetration testing, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Active and fully adjudicated TS/SCI security clearance and the ability to maintain it.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Master’s degree in a technical discipline and at least 10 years of technical experience; additional experience may substitute for education.
• Advanced command-line experience with Windows PowerShell and Linux, including Kali and Ubuntu.
• Experience designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Intermediate English communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware, Agile/Scrum, Confluence, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, embedded systems, communication protocols, or data science.
• Knowledge of OSI, TCP/IP networking, enterprise network architecture, routers, servers, intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, and antivirus tools.
• Understanding of systems engineering, user experience, and user interface applications.

Hiring process

• Obtain the ISTQB CTFL certification within 6 months of hire.
• Obtain the ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level-Test Analyst certification within 2 years of hire.
