Software Developer III - Cloud Platform (Back End, Authentication)

Location: Hybrid from an hirify.global office in Atlanta, Georgia; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; or Mandan, North Dakota. Minimum three days per week in the office, including Tuesday and Wednesday.

What you will do

• Develop and enhance cloud-native applications and platform services.
• Build and support identity, authentication, and access management solutions.
• Create, test, and deploy scalable RESTful APIs, integrations, microservices, and backend services.
• Complete complex software maintenance and enhancements independently.
• Partner with architects, engineers, product stakeholders, and development teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and deliver new features.
• Use generative AI tools to improve productivity, creativity, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development or infrastructure.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Gradle, Angular, Docker, Python, and Terraform.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of IAM, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML, plus application security and secure software development principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, modern DevOps practices, and Git.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with single sign-on and identity providers.
