Senior Business Excellence Engineer (MedTech)

Location: Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; onsite manufacturing site role

What you will do

• Execute process improvement initiatives for manufacturing lines, with a focus on quality, throughput, flow, and cost performance.
• Define improvement opportunities, analyze data, identify process constraints, and resolve basic line performance issues.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to sustain business results and reduce downtime, work-in-process inventory, and manufacturing costs.
• Design and optimize manufacturing line flows and plant layouts, including improvements to the movement of products, people, and information.
• Lead business case development, results presentations, and cross-functional initiatives with Controls and Automation Engineering and New Product Introduction teams.
• Mentor site groups and help develop a continuous improvement culture while ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO, FDA, safety, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or Science.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or logistics in the healthcare industry required, with 4–5 years of overall business experience.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, project management, change management, process validations including IQ/OQ/PQ, and risk analysis.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and senior-management presentation skills.
• Experience with plant information systems such as Enterprise One, Epicenter, EtQ, CATSWEB, and Webex, plus Windows productivity and project-planning software.

Nice to have

• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Knowledge of financial processes, standard cost development, business planning, product cost drivers, and Design to Value.
• Experience with engineering analysis and statistical software.
