Staff Software Engineer - Set Registry (Backend)

What you will do

• Design and develop cloud-based software architectures for PSA Set Registry.
• Own complete features from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production release.
• Design and contribute to APIs supporting web and mobile user experiences.
• Analyze applications and databases, identify improvement areas, and troubleshoot issues across a large codebase.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and other cross-functional teams to create extensible solutions.
• Develop unit and integration tests and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building backend software.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and batch processing.
• Strong database and data-modeling fundamentals with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• 5+ years building solutions with AWS technologies including Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and API Gateway.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, and infrastructure as code using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
• Must be able to work legally in the United States; employment eligibility is validated through e-Verify.
