Clinical Operations Specialist (Healthcare)

Salary: $65,000–$72,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Manage provider scheduling, rescheduling, PTO tracking, and unexpected call-outs.
• Coordinate coverage changes and maintain reliable day-to-day clinical operations.
• Handle non-clinical patient complaints, requests, and crisis routing.
• Coordinate meetings, IT requests, internal FAQs, and operational reporting for leadership.
• Collaborate with operations teammates to establish shift, function, and specialty coverage as service volume grows.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in healthcare operations, medical scheduling, clinic coordination, or high-volume virtual operations support.
• Comfort with electronic medical record systems, preferably Athena, plus Slack or Teams and spreadsheet-based data management.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and rotating on-call coverage.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for sensitive healthcare conversations.
• Successful completion of a standard healthcare background check and credentialing verification.
