Senior Information Security Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, and strengthen security solutions across cloud, infrastructure, endpoints, networks, identity, and data environments.
• Own enterprise security platforms and integrations, troubleshoot complex issues, and handle technical escalations.
• Drive data security and Data Loss Prevention initiatives, including discovery, classification, access controls, encryption, policies, and Microsoft Purview.
• Automate security operations using scripting, APIs, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
• Support investigations, incident response, remediation, recovery, and improvements to security visibility.
• Lead security projects from requirements and solution design through testing, documentation, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security, cybersecurity engineering, or enterprise security infrastructure.
• Broad security engineering experience across cloud, endpoint, network, identity, and data security in on-premises, AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments.
• Hands-on experience with DLP and data security, including discovery, classification, access controls, encryption, and policy development.
• Strong scripting and API integration skills, plus experience improving security platforms and capabilities.
• Experience with security controls and compliance requirements related to SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, or CIS.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Terraform, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, or DevSecOps.
• Bachelor’s degree or security certifications from SANS, ISC2, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with AI, LLM, or generative AI security.
