Electrical / Automation Engineer, Tissue Converting

Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States; onsite interview required. The position is not open for relocation or immigration sponsorship. Travel to customer sites may be required, up to 25%.

What you will do

• Design electrical engineering solutions for new equipment and TIPS/MODS covering converting, packaging, and folding applications.
• Create job-specific electrical schematics, bills of material, PLC software, and HMI software.
• Customize hardware and software for customer needs while maintaining engineering standards.
• Support sales, purchasing, customer service, and technicians with feasibility reviews, supplier evaluations, replacement parts, and technical issue resolution.
• Resolve electrical non-conformities and develop upgrades for obsolete electrical platforms.
• Coordinate and participate in customer design reviews and travel to customer sites for equipment promotion or installation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or comparable workplace or industry experience.
• Knowledge of electrical control packages using Rockwell and Siemens.
• Ability to create electrical schematics and bills of material.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and project management skills.
• SAP experience or knowledge.
• Self-motivated, engaged, and passionate approach with relevant industry experience preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with E3, Promis, or Eplan.
• Industry experience.
