Medical Director - Critical Care

Location: Remote (US-Based); up to 40% travel required.

Salary: $300,000–$309,000 USD base compensation, with potential performance-based bonuses.

hirify.global is a medical technology company developing a point-of-care EEG platform for rapid seizure detection and neurological care in acute-care settings.

What you will do

• Lead medical strategy and planning while supporting clinical, marketing, and product strategies.
• Engage physicians, hospital executives, and customers throughout the sales process, with approximately 70% of time dedicated to peer-to-peer sales engagement.
• Support marketing initiatives, advisory boards, scientific societies, talks, and webinars.
• Guide post-market evidence generation, publications, retrospective studies, investigator-initiated studies, and regulatory trials.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, physician advocates, academic centers, and clinical research partners.
• Provide medical expertise to product, R&D, regulatory, reimbursement, and commercial teams, including FDA and payer interactions.

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree.
• Experienced neurologist or intensivist with at least 10 years of industry or attending-physician experience.
• Critical care experience and experience with the hirify.global platform.
• Strong knowledge of neurological assessment, acute-care workflows, medical literature, and clinical evidence generation.
• Experience collaborating with the FDA through clinical studies, market release, and post-market activities.
• Strong communication, presentation, leadership, commercial judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing physician advocacy networks and working with fellows or residents on research and publications.
• Broad relationships with academic medical centers, major practice centers, and the medical device industry.
• Experience presenting breakthrough products and new technologies to physicians and hospital administrators.
