Location: Jacksonville, Florida; assignment supporting the Marine Corps Prepositioning Program – Philippines

What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, execute, and supervise hazardous-material management activities for the MCPP-PHIL task order.
- Manage hazardous-material identification, classification, labeling, segregation, shipping, receiving, storage, processing, packaging, and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, U.S., , and Republic of the Philippines requirements.
- Provide training and support for the safe handling, processing, packaging, and storage of hazardous materials and waste.
- Prepare management reports, technical correspondence, records, and deficiency documentation.
- Maintain MCPP-PHIL ISO policies and procedures and support ongoing compliance.
Requirements
- Associate degree in safety, environmental engineering, health education, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and directly related experience.
- Six years of directly related hazardous-materials management experience, including classification, labeling, segregation inspection, and transportation certification.
- Completion of an HQMC-approved formal school or OSHA course covering hazardous-material and waste management, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910-120 or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship, a U.S. stateside driver’s license, and a U.S. passport are required.
- Must pass an FBI background investigation with no criminal, civil, or security violations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Philippines work permit.
Nice to have
- USMC MOS 8012/8056.
- Understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations, and orders.
- Industry certification and knowledge of military storage procedures.
- Experience with maintenance procedures for military tactical equipment and supplies.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
