Financial Services Risk Consulting Intern - Summer 2027

Location: New York, United States; travel to assigned client locations may be required.

Compensation: $35–$41 per hour

What you will do

• Support client meetings and process engagements across financial institutions, capital markets, insurance, specialty finance, fintech, and asset management.
• Contribute to internal audit, including SOX, regulatory compliance remediation and advisory, credit review, and financial reporting control projects.
• Prepare consulting reports, document findings and recommendations, and discuss results with client personnel.
• Analyze client information and document results using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Complete client projects efficiently according to project timelines and critical dates.
• Travel to client locations and participate in relevant conferences, trainings, and meetings.

Requirements

• At least 90 credit hours completed and pursuing a B.A., B.S., or equivalent degree at an accredited university.
• Major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data & Analytics, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong multitasking, project management, teamwork, integrity, and professionalism.
• Access to and ability to arrange reliable transportation to assigned client locations.
