Investment Research Intern (2027)

Location: United States; the firm follows a principally in-person workplace model and the role may involve local, national, and occasional international travel. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $36.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Research mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, separately managed accounts, alternative investments, stocks, and bonds.
• Collaborate with colleagues to research and recommend investment solutions for clients.
• Prepare reports on the structural and statistical characteristics of investment portfolios, vehicles, and strategies.
• Engage with leading money management firms as part of ongoing research.
• Develop research materials and present investment topics to the research committee.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented leadership and a strong interest in capital markets, the economy, and investing.
• On track to complete the degree and aiming to obtain the CFA designation.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship is required, except for qualified candidates bilingual in Japanese and English or Chinese and English.
