Portfolio Management Intern, Manager Research (Summer 2027)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; onsite 4 days per week

What you will do

• Evaluate and select investment managers across asset classes and investment vehicles using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Monitor third-party manager performance and assess unique investment strategies.
• Research investment trends and industry developments.
• Analyze and report on model portfolios.
• Produce research materials supporting investment decisions and contribute to client-service content.
• Collaborate with portfolio management, alternatives, internal colleagues, and external departments.

Requirements

• Must be a rising junior or senior by summer 2027 and currently enrolled in a related degree program.
• Degree studies or coursework in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work effectively across departments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly with different audiences.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; hirify.global hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents for U.S. employment opportunities, subject to stated exceptions.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant financial software.
• Previous internship, work, or classwork experience in finance or a related field.
