TL;DR
Public Investments - Credit Investment Intern, Summer 2027 (Credit Investments/Finance): Participating in day-to-day credit investment processes, developing market and company outlooks, and supporting forecast models and recommendations with an accent on corporate, structured product, emerging market, high-yield, government, and municipal investments. Focus on analyzing industries and companies, presenting investment perspectives, and collaborating with portfolio managers, senior analysts, traders, and market experts.
Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; full-time onsite internship from June 2027 to August 2027
Compensation: $16.50–$30.00 per hour
Company
manages public markets investments through its Public Investments Department, overseeing more than $100 billion across corporate, structured product, emerging market, high-yield, government, municipal, and related derivative assets.
What you will do
- Participate in the day-to-day investment processes of one or more credit investment management teams.
- Help create and present market, industry, and company outlooks.
- Build company-specific forecast models and investment recommendations.
- Participate in asset-class, industry strategy, company communications, and portfolio position meetings.
- Engage with company management teams, Wall Street research analysts, strategists, and economists.
- Complete ad hoc projects with senior analysts, portfolio managers, and traders.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Investments, Accounting, Economics, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Previous work or classroom experience in Finance, Investments, or a similar concentration.
- Employer immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

- Experience with Bloomberg.
- Web scraping or programming coursework and experience.
- Statistics and data analysis coursework or experience.
- Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivation, willingness to learn, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
