DevOps Manager - Edge (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the DevOps Edge team, manage day-to-day operations and projects, and act as an escalation point.
• Develop robust, scalable and secure edge deployments using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, k0s and OpenShift.
• Own GitLab CI/CD pipelines for building, packaging and delivering edge product components.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning, CVE remediation, monitoring infrastructure, system configuration and automation for the HaaS initiative.
• Drive continuous improvement, research new technologies and ensure high-quality, on-time releases and security patches.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, QA and Security teams, including occasional customer travel and off-hours work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Manager, with previous experience as a DevOps or Automation Engineer, Linux Administrator, or in a combination of these roles.
• Experience with Linux system services, filesystems, storage migration, SSH tunneling, web servers, reverse proxies, troubleshooting and connectivity.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift, virtualization, Ansible, CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Experience with Azure or another major cloud platform, Git, Bash, Python, monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, RESTful API calls, JSON, software engineering principles and technical architecture.
• Fluent business English required, along with strong communication, analytical, leadership and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with alternative configuration management, CI/CD, cloud and Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Knowledge of AI-related software engineering and industry trends.
