DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania; office attendance is required three days per week

hirify.global manages cloud infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystems for a global financial markets infrastructure provider across multiple engineering workstreams.

What you will do

• Maintain and extend AWS infrastructure supporting zero-impact release patterns.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins and implement automated quality gates.
• Manage AWS EKS clusters, Kubernetes namespaces, Helm deployments, and microservices.
• Embed SAST, DAST, SBOM generation, dependency scanning, and secrets rotation into delivery pipelines.
• Own monitoring, alerting, deployment runbooks, and rollback procedures using Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering with significant AWS production experience.
• Experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, Aurora, API Gateway, and Route 53.
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation, containers, Kubernetes, namespace management, and Helm.
• Experience authoring CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, SBOMs, AWS Secrets Manager, or HashiCorp Vault.
• Linux, Bash, and Python scripting experience; proficient English at B2+ level required for technical communication.

Nice to have

• GCP experience.
• Aurora PostgreSQL administration and Liquibase schema migrations.
• Experience with enterprise job scheduling tools such as BMC Control-M.
• Background in financial services or capital markets infrastructure.
