Location: San Francisco, hybrid / in-office. US right to work is strongly preferred; visa sponsorship may be possible in exceptional cases. London is 8 hours ahead.

Salary: $100,000–$160,000 base salary plus meaningful equity

What you will do

• Design and execute career fairs, founder dinners, meetups, and new event formats from concept through follow-up.
• Manage logistics, guest lists, day-of execution, and events at high volume.
• Turn each event into recaps, clips, photos, and social posts for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and X.
• Activate and expand a San Francisco network of founders, VCs, and operators.
• Connect events and content with awareness, pipeline, sign-ups, acquisition, and partnerships.
• Build the events and community playbook independently as an individual contributor.

Requirements

• Experience running event series or communities at high volume.
• Demonstrated ability to amplify events on social media and achieve measurable reach.
• Experience in events, community, or content at a startup, fintech, VC-adjacent company, fund, or accelerator.
• Strong, established connections in the San Francisco startup ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience building a community, meetup, event series, social following, or function from zero.
• Ability to measure the connection between community activity and pipeline or business outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience at a VC fund or accelerator promoting founder dinners, demo days, or portfolio events.
• Experience as the first community, events, or partnerships hire.
• Excitement about AI and the future of hiring.
