Research Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or NYC

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own customer relationships end-to-end as a trusted research partner.
• Scope, design, and run research projects using the AI platform, including concept testing, usability studies, and market exploration.
• Turn qualitative and quantitative data into clear, actionable insights, stories, decks, and dashboards.
• Lead customer meetings, onboarding, and pre- and post-sales training sessions.
• Create research and product content, documentation, and enablement materials.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to translate feedback into product and business impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in research, insights, or strategy roles.
• Strong qualitative research experience.
• Ability to independently own research projects and client relationships in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative data synthesis skills.
• Clear, confident communication with executives and day-to-day users.
• Ownership, curiosity, resourcefulness, and a bias toward action.
