What you will do

• Partner with portfolio managers and regional credit administrators on credit approval, administration, and review activities.
• Establish and manage systems and procedures that protect loan portfolio quality and profitability.
• Lead credit structuring and negotiation strategy discussions with officers and business units.
• Approve or decline credit requests exceeding line or regional approval limits.
• Identify problem credits and work with loan workout specialists to restructure credits and minimize losses.
• Advise staff, officers, and business units on lending policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of related experience.
• Strong management and mentoring skills.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Ability to work from the Houston office.
