Mobile Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, United States; on-site

Base salary: $250,000–$350,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own release tooling across iOS and Android, including automated builds, code signing, store submissions, phased rollouts, hotfixes, and post-release health checks.
• Build and maintain trusted CI infrastructure with build-time budgets, flaky-test detection, merge gates, and device and simulator infrastructure.
• Develop regression gates and automated coverage to support crash-free and ANR targets, while fixing crash clusters and hardening error paths in app code.
• Operate observability and alerting systems that identify issues before they affect users.
• Build AI into the mobile toolchain through evaluation harnesses, AI-assisted developer workflows, and AI agents for shipping and testing.
• Set engineering budgets, track them over time, and demonstrate improvements with data.

Requirements

• Broad mobile infrastructure experience at consumer scale across iOS, Android, or both.
• Experience with CI/CD, release automation, test infrastructure, and mobile stability engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Sentry or similar crash monitoring, LaunchDarkly or similar feature flagging, and fastlane or an equivalent release tool.
• Practical experience applying AI to engineering, including evaluation harnesses, LLM-powered features, or AI agents in developer workflows.
• Measurement-driven approach to quality, with the ability to instrument systems, set budgets, and prove improvements.
• Ability to work directly in app code and independently own release, CI, quality, observability, and AI tooling.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time data applications, live market feeds, or mobile trading products.
