Financial Planning & Analysis Advisor/Sr Analyst/Analyst

Location: Hybrid position in Memphis, TN or Pittsburgh, PA only; candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus and work onsite several times per week. Remote work may be considered based on business need.

What you will do

• Analyze business proposals and projects related to revenue, strategy, capital, operations, and expenses.
• Develop, test, and maintain financial models for cost-benefit and profit-and-loss analysis.
• Provide concise recommendations and actionable guidance to management and business partners.
• Lead and coordinate major projects across Finance and other departments.
• Analyze cost drivers, end-to-end cost flows, and Activity-Based Costing models.
• Present findings to diverse audiences, keep Finance leadership informed, and mentor fellow staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, or a related discipline; a related master’s degree may offset experience requirements.
• Two to five years of directly related experience, depending on the selected level, in financial analysis, planning, consulting, project management, accounting, audit, or operational analysis.
• Knowledge of financial modeling concepts for cost-benefit and profit-and-loss analysis.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with advanced office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Essbase or similar tools.
• Ability to work from within 50 miles of the Memphis or Pittsburgh campus and attend the campus several times per week.

Nice to have

• Experience developing Activity-Based Costing models and cost allocation methodologies.
• Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and AI-assisted tools such as Databricks Genie.
• Experience using AI and automation to improve analytical efficiency, data quality, and business insights.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets with strong attention to accuracy, traceability, and governance.
