Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps)

What you will do

• Modernize the JavaScript and TypeScript build pipeline by migrating to Bazel modules and optimizing incremental compilation.
• Drive down CI time and costs by improving cache hit rates, test parallelism, and build observability.
• Design and implement ephemeral, isolated environments for branches and tasks to replace long-lived shared stacks.
• Build a robust, agent-ready development platform that supports hermetic, reproducible builds for both human and AI-driven workflows.
• Own the test automation infrastructure, ensuring fast and reliable feedback across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience owning monorepo build systems at scale, with strong preference for Bazel.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD platform design, including incremental builds, test sharding, and self-hosted runner fleets.
• Proven experience with production bundler pipelines (Webpack, Vite, esbuild) and test suites (Jest, Playwright).
• Strong fluency in TypeScript/Node.js module resolution and packaging, with comfort operating in a polyglot repository alongside Go.
• Ability to eliminate machine-dependent toolchains and hidden network calls to ensure reproducible build results.
