Lead Pharmacy Technician, Inventory

Location: Gilbert, Arizona, United States; on-site. Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Maintain accurate drug inventory across cage and floor locations, documenting physical inventory moves and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee Parata MAX pharmacy automation inventory, stocking, refilling, and return-to-stock processes.
• Develop and deliver inventory-management training for pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Organize medication disposal and pharmacy package returns in accordance with Stericycle and state board requirements.
• Prepare medications for dispensing by reading orders, preparing labels, calculating quantities, and assembling patient orders.
• Maintain clean, safe, compliant pharmacy operations while supporting inventory counts, workflow transitions, and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician credential through EXCPT or PTCB.
• Active Certified Pharmacy Technician registration with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy.
• At least one year of experience with Parata MAX machines.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations, with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English; ability to work on-site and flexible shifts.
