Principal Technical Writer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead content strategy across support articles, technical documentation, in-product help, chatbot flows, and support videos.
• Define scalable documentation frameworks across multiple product lines and align content with business and customer goals.
• Produce clear online support content in English and create personalized in-product experiences.
• Use analytics, metadata management, taxonomy, and search configuration to improve content findability and support handoffs.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, UX, support, tooling, and content teams on documentation, UI messaging, and publishing infrastructure.
• Use AI tools to identify content gaps, refine drafts, and scale quality improvements; coordinate translations and support chatbot experiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience authoring DITA XML, including fluency with the DITA authoring language and related toolsets.
• Experience defining and executing documentation strategy across multiple product lines.
• Strong knowledge of search technologies, including indexing, ranking signals, metadata structures, taxonomy design, and search configuration.
• Fluency with AI tools for identifying performance gaps, generating and refining drafts, and improving content quality at scale.
• Experience with content delivery tools, systems, and components across backend and frontend environments, including identity services, developer content, integrations, and APIs.
• Ability to work independently in an Agile, distributed environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with localization processes and translation coordination.
• Experience with chatbot platforms or interactive content delivery.
• Experience with XML, HTML, CMS, and publishing platforms.
