Automation Scientist

Location: West Point, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Candidates must live within a commutable distance.

What you will do

• Perform automated ELISAs and other plate-based, including cell-based, assays on vaccine products, process intermediates, and experimental samples.
• Execute testing and analyze data according to approved methods and procedures.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, aliquots, and culture media while maintaining cell lines.
• Verify liquid-handler volumes using Artel equipment to support method readiness.
• Maintain laboratory records and test results in accordance with GMP.
• Keep the laboratory clean, organized, and operational.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• 1–2 years of related laboratory experience.
• Experience with ELISAs, aseptic techniques, and cell culture.
• Experience with Tecan, Dynamic Devices, Biotek washers, dispensers or imagers, and Cellario software.
