LQA Analyst (Russian)

What you will do

• Execute test passes on localized game builds to verify linguistic, functional, and visual accuracy.
• Identify, reproduce, and log translation, localization, and UI bugs with detailed steps.
• Review spelling, grammar, terminology, tone, variables, cultural appropriateness, glossaries, and style guides.
• Amend or propose objective linguistic corrections in text management systems.
• Analyze issues for root causes and flag localization, internationalization, variable, UI, and source-text risks.
• Participate in test planning, bug triage, localization reviews, and LQA team standups.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Russian is required.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Entry-level QA, localization QA, or related testing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of game consoles, mobile platforms, game development terminology, and first-party standards from Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft.
• Familiarity with bug tracking, test execution, JIRA, text management systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and version control platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; ability to meet deadlines, follow test plans, and work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience with localization or CAT tools such as Trados, MemoQ, or XLOC.
• Experience coordinating external QA partners or freelance reviewers.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA accreditation.
• Knowledge of regional age-rating standards in supported territories.
