Staff Practice Accountant (OpEx)

What you will do

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support monthly close activities, consolidations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with variance analysis, financial reviews, schedules, and audit analyses.
• Maintain organized transaction documentation and support accounting standards, policy, and procedure implementation.
• Identify process efficiency improvements and collaborate with practice staff and finance teams on ad hoc analyses.

Requirements

• 0–4+ years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Regular attendance in the Nashville, TN hybrid role is an essential job function.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Workday or another ERP platform.
• Active CPA license or progress toward a CPA license.
