Summer 2027 Intern - Law - Washington, DC CLC

Location: Bowie, Maryland, with a hybrid arrangement combining office and remote work. Office: 16901 Melford Blvd, Suite 400, Bowie, MD 20715. Applicants must be eligible to lawfully work in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.

Pay: $33 per hour, plus a $2,000 intern stipend.

What you will do

• Work one-on-one with attorneys on assigned legal projects.
• Conduct legal research and support an active civil trial practice.
• Observe every phase of litigation and gain exposure to trial practice.
• Develop an understanding of the Claims Litigation Counsel function and related legal services.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
• Participate in a structured internship with a designated mentor.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an ABA-accredited law school and remain enrolled throughout the internship.
• Must be a 2L student in the top half of the class.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines.
• Must be available for the full summer program with little to no disruption to the work schedule.
