What you will do
- Conduct legal research on employment-related matters.
- Draft written discovery requests and responses, motions, legal correspondence, and legal updates.
- Observe and participate in strategic planning for depositions, mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
- Participate in witness interviews and client meetings.
- Complete a wide variety of legal assignments as part of the 10-week summer program.
Requirements
- Second-year law student participating in the 2027 summer associate program.
- Class standing in the top one-third.
- Undergraduate degree demonstrating academic excellence and critical thinking ability.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Leadership-oriented extracurricular activities, commitment, and strong time-management skills.
- Interest in pursuing management-side labor and employment law after law school.
