Commercial Credit Analyst (Fintech)

hirify.global is a growing fintech business providing commercial lending services through a lending platform.

What you will do

• Engage with customers to verify financial and credit transactions, assess business performance, and request additional information.
• Evaluate credit and financial data to determine lending risk and recommend outcomes.
• Prepare risk notes and interpret financial ratios generated by proprietary programs.
• Support Supply Chain and Sales and Marketing departments in managing financial orders and controlling credit exposure.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the lending platform, with a focus on the origination module.
• Monitor the loan portfolio, handle escalations with credit leadership, resolve customer issues, and support ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
• High level of organisation, attention to detail, resilience, and a positive approach to challenges.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a startup environment, with willingness to support colleagues and contribute across business needs.

Nice to have

• Commercial or SME credit experience.
