Corporate Intern: 2027 Summer Intern: Walmart Merchandising

Location: Corporate, in-person internship in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States. Housing and relocation are available for candidates living outside a 50-mile radius of the Walmart Home Office.

Hourly wage: $21.00–$40.00.

What you will do

• Analyze category data, perform basic statistical analysis, create reports, and use visualization tools to support decisions.
• Support customer communication, product-page content accuracy, search queries, taxonomy, and Walmart.com campaigns.
• Track category financial performance, prepare sales reports, support forecasting, and contribute to budgeting and inventory purchase planning.
• Develop and execute approved store and online promotions, monthly category features, and modular strategies.
• Support assortment, modular layouts, walkthroughs, replenishment, supplier setup, item information, store training, and communications.
• Execute cross-functional merchandising initiatives, communicate business plans, identify operational needs, and provide recommendations to senior management and business partners.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Expected graduation between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Penultimate-year college student available for an 11-week summer internship.
• Desired academic backgrounds include business, retail or buying, merchandising, economics, accounting or finance, marketing, supply chain, and entrepreneurship.
• Curiosity, digital and financial acumen, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn new digital tools.
